Can Dressel, Anderson leave lasting mark?

Two of the most decorated distance runners in Washington history will go toe to toe for the final time at a state championship meet.
The WIAA Class 2A/3A/4A Championships begin Thursday at Mt. Tahoma High School in Tacoma.
Tanner Anderson of Class 3A North Central, NXN champion, will try to win a second state title on the track this weeekend. He won the 3,200 as a sophomore before winning a pair of state championships in cross country. His only entered in the 3,200 this weekend.
John Dressel of Class 3A Mt. Spokane will try to win his first state title. Dressel was the 2013 Foot Locker runner-up. UPDATE - Dressel won the 3A 1,600 on Thursday in 4:15.26.
